We can pick-up from any hotel, guesthouse, backpackers or street address within 10km radius of Cape Town.
We will confirm with you the day before your tour what your exact pickup time will be, along with your guide's details.

  • The included activities are of such a nature that anybody on tour can partake in them and are not physically demanding in any way.
  • Some optional activities require a certain level of fitness.
  • The optional activities are pre-booked by the tour operator for your convenience and you can decide on the first day of the tour if you will be partaking.
  • Optional activities are charged additionally and are paid for directly to the supplier on the day unless otherwise specified.
  • Optional activities are subject to weather conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
  • Rates for optional activities can change without prior notice.
  • This tour requires a minimum number of guests/travellers in order to operate/run. If the tour is cancelled because the minimum was not reached/met, you will be offered a different date or tour, or a full refund.
  • The itinerary is subject to change and may at times run in reverse order/certain days may be swapped.
  • Please be advised that the rate quoted for the tour is for standback backpacker share dorm room accommodation. Upgrades to private rooms available at additional cost (please enquire at the time of booking).
  • Some activities and adventure tour packages require a certain level of fitness. We must be advised of any medical conditions or physical disability requiring special attention before you book. If you do not advise us at this stage, we may refuse to accept your booking, or cancel your trip upon departure. We may also refuse you if we feel that the package chosen is not suitable without a suitably qualified (fare paying) companion. We will not be responsible for the failure to provide these services.

I recently completed this tour with my adult daughter. From the first communication with Eunice to the end of the tour I cannot rave about this company enough. Tariq was our guide and was professional, knowledgeable, lots of fun and looked after us so well. Our accomodation was clean but basic. We were given detailed information every day and Tariq was flexible to show us a few extra highlights. Eunice communicated with us constantly to ensure we had all the information. If you are easy going, relatively fit, don’t mind driving long distances with lots of rest stops though this tour is for you. We loved every minute of our tour.

Our Garden Route tour was amazing! We did many activities and Dylan our guide gives the extra experience. Very relatable and interesting information is given by the guide and a well planned itinerary with much to do. We did a safari, town visits, lookouts, map of Africa, elephant sanctuary, face adrenaline skywalk, cango caves and trips to the beach and walks at viewpoints. Overall an amazing time thanks to CapeXtreme and Dylan especially going above and beyond, not to mention how passionate he is touring! Cheers guys

I was put on a bus with teenagers aging 15-19. They were shouting and screaming the entire way n throwing water at each other. Me and my sister got soaked wet. And when I asked them to stop they called me “LOCA” and almost got physical with me with the bus driver watching. At the hostel, I couldn’t sleep for 3 consecutive nights because of how noisy they were. I spoke to the bus driver and he just dismissed me. His excuse was it’s communal living and I had to put up with the drunk screams till 3 am every night. The tour at the safari was meant to be one hour and ended as a 45 min tour of seeing nothing. The bus driver kept on pushing and embarrassing us to buy food and drinks that we didn’t need from the restaurants and cafes to get his commission which made us extremely uncomfortable. The hostel was dirty. The entire experience unpleasant if u r anything above 30, it’s not the right place for u. When we came back, we complained to the office on long street. Again, they were dismissive and didn’t even bother to apologize.
